The 1988 Specialized Rockhopper is a vintage mountain bike frameset made from double-butted chromoly tubing, with chromoly stays, fork blades, and steerer. Produced in the late 1980s, this rugged steel frame is made for 26" wheels, and offers 130mm rear spacing to accommodate modern indexed drivetrains and a short 42cm chainstay for enhanced climbing ability. This sought-after classic is perfect for commuters or collectors seeking an authentic 1980s vibe with the flexibility of a modern drivetrain. Available in dark blue with hot pink and neon yellow decals, size 54.5 cm.
